The Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, the Media Office of the Government of Sharjah, the Sharjah Media City (Shams), the Oil Council in the Emirate of Sharjah, and the Presidency of the University of Sharjah work under his supervision.

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi has chaired the Basma Group since 2005, the Board of Directors of the Sharjah National Oil Company since 2010, the Board of Directors of Tilal Real Estate Company since 2014, the Board of Directors of Arada Real Estate Development Company since 2017, and His Highness has chaired the Board of Directors of the Investment Bank since 2019.
